In commemoration of Europe Day, on 9 May 2018, I would like to invite you to participate in Changemakers Summit: Creative Hubs, Social Entrepreneurship and the Future of Europe Organized by Changemakers Lab and supporters.

The Summit, which is open to all, will be informed by the outcome of two pre-Summit workshops (see below). Participation in the workshops is limited and I welcome you to register should you wish to attend.

* Day 1

Mobile Learning & Educational Technologies
Place: UNHCR Premises (Epano Skala)
Time: 9:00 - 13:00
Design thinking workshops, with an introduction to mobile learning technologies. Objective is to identify solutions that can be introduced and be implemented by both locals and asylum seekers

* Day 2

Building Bridges
Place: Kafeneio Panagopolos, Moria Town, Mytilini
Time: 10:00 - 12:00
This "think tank” (with a lunch thereafter) is intended to identify ways in which we can collaborate, establishing better links with the local community, NGOs, volunteers and asylum seekers, supporting peaceful co-existence.

Educational Technologies
Place: Kafeneio Panagopolos, Moria Town, Mytilini
Time: 13:00 - 17:00
Participants will select one or two viable high value propositions and develop a business strategy and framework. Key elements of a business plan will be identified, and the broad terms of a roadmap to market will be identified.

* Day 3

Changemakers Summit
Place: University of the Aegean
Time: 10:00 - 20:00
To commemorate Europe Day on Wednesday 9th of May 2018, we will be hosting Changemakers Summit for the third year with the support of the University of the Aegean and other key stakeholders
